Jaina, sunshine. 

When Jaina was four years old she was continuously sick with colds and fevers and she had bumps on her head that wouldn’t go away. Her parents wanted answers .After increasing symptoms, and a blood draw the Dr called Jania's parents and delivered a parents worst news: She had pre-b acute lymphoblastic leukemia. During chemo, Jaina's hair started falling out in earnest. As a family, they had discussed that if this happened, they would all support her by shaving their heads too, showing solidarity to Jaina. They honored their journey as a family unit.

 

She celebrated her freedom from chemo day on July 8, 2021.

She is healthy, strong, and no longer immunocompromised.
